I'm sorry I've been absent over on the blog. Life gets in the way and you get busy doing things that are a priority over anything else. I'm doing my best to be more disciplined to be on top of it but fuck is it hard! Full time job, full time mom/wife and blogging can make for a full schedule, so thanks for sticking around.
I've been wearing lots of black lately. It's simple and I don't need to figure out if it matches cause it's black and goes with everything. I have however been adding pops of color like these booties. It's bright and the texture is not your typical shoe material. I'm shopping more basic items that I know I'll wear for more than 1 season and not just buying items that are the "it" item of the moment only to collect dust in my closet. I'm shopping smarter and I feel good about that.
Who else is tired of those "it" items you're seeing on every one because it's the must-have of the moment?
Nice outfit. I like the jeans, the purse and I am convinced I need to go choose a darker nail shade this week. The top is quirky - I am interested because there seemed to be a fair nit of velvet at the Oscars last night too.
